𛲠A SLY FOX AND FOOLISH GOAT
Once upon a time, there lived a fox beside a village. One day it was roaming in search of food. As it was unmindful, it accidentally fell into a well. He tried his level best again & again to come out of the well. But it could not come out. He was thinking about his own fate. At that time a goat was passing by the well. The peeped into the well & saw the fox. The goat enquired the fox, " what are you doing into well?".The cunning fox replied," I am drinking water? The water of this well is very sweet..Please come & taste the water here.
The foolish goat believed what the fox said.so, it jumped into the well. The fox lost no time but at once leaped upon the goat' horn and got out of the well. The poor goat was left in the well.
Moral- Think twice before you do a thing.
ð‘‚½A FARMAR AND HIS THREE QUARRELSOME SONS
A farmer lived in a village. He had three sons. They always quarreled with one another. So the farmer was very unhappy. He asked them not to quarrel among themselves. But all was in vain. One day farmer had an idea. He sent for his sons. He gave them a bundle of sticks and asked them to break it. Each of the three brothers tried but could not break the bundle of sticks.The farmer untied the bundle. He gave each of his sons a single stick & said." Now break it."Each of them could easily break it. Then the farmer said," now m sons"." If you remain united, you will be happy, & none would be able to harm you. The sons learned a great lesson & lived happily ever afterward.
Moral-United we stand, divided we fall.
THE LION & THE MOUSE
𛲠A lion was sleeping in his den. A mouse was playing under a nearby tree. The mouse entered into the den & began to play near the sleeping lion. Accidentally, the mouse entered into the nose of a mouse. The lion was angry. He caught the mouse and was about to kill him. But the mouse said," please, spare my life." I shall help you someday."The lion smiled and took pity on the mouse. He let him go.After a few days later there came a hunter in the jungle. He trapped net to catch the lion.
The lion trapped in the net of hunter & roared again and again. The moused was nearby .so it heard the nose & rushed to the spot. The mouse cut the net by its sharp teeth & set the lion free. He thanked little mouse to save its life.
Morla- Even the small can save the great.
